Diary of a Game: Day 21


I’ve been distracted with other duties, and have only been chipping away slowly at Gravitas. The biggest changes since my last post are:

  • Polygonal collision shapes, with debug drawing too.
  • Collision callbacks integrated with Flecs, and used to play sounds on collision.
  • Proper pause mode, which also activates when switching screen modes or when the window loses focus.
  • Got the player ship rendering.

Next on the agenda is hooking up player controls, and getting 4-player splitscreen happening. With any luck, this will all happen TOMORROW. I need to stop taking it slow!
